Om u daarbij te helpen geven we u hier in het kort een overzicht van de rangschikking per leeftijd alsook de voornaamste eisen waaraan speelgoed moet voldoen. De afbakening per leeftijdsgroep mag niet te strikt worden genomen en verschilt van kind tot kind. Ze kan echter wel gebruikt worden als een richtlijn.
